We were looking to join a small horse racing syndicate preferably in a yard local to us in Wiltshire and came across Racing for a Cause. Sharon and Michael were so welcoming and invited us to the yard to look around and we haven't looked back. We have enjoyed lots of wins, met some lovely people and had fun days and evenings out with Racing for a Cause, and also with Staverton Owners Group and 'Champ de Reves' who we bought into, and now have bought our own horse this year which we are very excited about. The standard of training and care by all the team at Staverton for each and every horse is individual and to a very high standard, we can't recommend Michael Blake and the team at Staverton enough.

Michael runs a small, friendly, dedicated team which are in an ideal position to assess the abilities of the horses in their care and to consider the requirements of their owners. My late wife Jill and I enjoyed countless fun days at the racecourse and had considerable success winning 30 races with Excellent Team, Heir to Be, Rocky Rebel, Stow, Pick a Little, Sadlers Star, My son Max, Iniesta, Kaaber, High Aspirations and Pacha D’oudairies. I am delighted to be able to keep the dynasty going with our latest winner, Fard.

It is great to have the opportunity to attend race meetings where the horses are running. Michael communicates with everyone extremely well giving us updates on how the horses have run, how they doing and progress for the future. We have enjoyed our trips to the stables where we have the opportunity of meeting the team in person. It is a pleasure to be part of this syndicate particularly as it raised money for charity as well.

Having been a successful co-owner, since 2013, with the West Wilts Hockey Lads and Racing for a Cause syndicates, the excitement, fun and happy times I have had Michael Blake Racing has been truly tremendous.

Without doubt Michael is an outstanding trainer. His experience, wisdom and equine intuition, strongly and superbly supported by his wife Sharon, has led to a significant number of winners for us over the years and where those less gifted, trainers might have struggled to get the horses to the track, let alone win with them.
